The Australian Slovaks’ Association in Victoria invites you to the opening ceremony of the Slovak Little School, which will be sponsored by the Office for Slovaks living abroad and the Australian Slovaks’ Association in Victoria.

Program on the day will include a performance by the folk group of the Slovak Social Club “Ludovit Stur” and presentations of the Czech School of Melbourne, Polish School in Albion and the Slovak Little School children.

Last year, we had over 100 people join us at our summer grill party with beer on tap donated by Koliba Czech and Slovak Restaurant, traditional goulash, campfire grilled sausages and overnight camping. Little over a month before VodaFest 2012, we're throwing a summer party again and want to see you there!

All inclusive entry fee is $30 an adult, or $70 a family and this is what you're gonna get for it:

Want your children to learn about Christmas in Europe, or bring back your memories from back home? Would you like to try traditional food and sweets, see customs and sing Christmas songs? Then make sure to join us at Sumava on the day, where a number of hands-on workshops will be on program. You will get to decorate your own Christmas ginger bread, as well as learn about unique pre-Christmas and Christmas Eve customs and rituals.

Entry fee is a Christmas themed food platter for four persons and a gold coin donation to cover costs.
