New Vodafest Committee for 2012 - 2013

Dear friends of Vodafest,

My name is Katarina Tomka and I am a new president of Vodafest – Czech and Slovak Association. I am glad that I can welcome you to this monthly Vodafest blog which I believe will bring you regular news and updates about Vodafest 2013 but also some interesting insight into the happening around Vodafest - Czech and Slovak Association and it’s other activities.
As you could notice from Vodafest Newsletter or some other media Vodafest - Czech and Slovak Association hold its Annual General Meeting on August 5, 2012 in the Sokol National House where the old Association’s committee evaluated the operation of the Association for the past financial year. The main activity of the Association is the organization of Vodafest – Czech and Slovak Festival therefore all the reports reflected mostly festival performance in 2012.

Afterwards the present quorum elected the new Association’s Committee members for the period of 2012 - 2013. The new Committee will overtake all the Association functions including organisation of festival Vodafest 2013.

And here is the new Committee:

Anne Fieldhouse - Treasurer
Lucie Skaife – Ordinary member
Miroslav Dinka – Ordinary member

I would like to thank to all the members of the old Committee for their dedication and effort in the past year and congratulate them to all the fantastic achievements in 2012.

At the same time I would like to wish the new Committee all the best with their planning and organisation of the new festival which I believe will be at least as successful as the previous one.
