VodaFest 2014 Czech and Slovak Festival

Preparations for the next year's VodaFest Czech and Slovak Festival  are well under way and we have good news for you.The date has been confirmed so you can save the date the 22nd of November 2014. If you visited the festival before you'll know that you're going to be able to taste traditional Czech and Slovak food, various kinds of beer and lots more! And you know what they say about the Czech beer - apparently it is the best in the world so you better come and try some. Do not forget to add this date to your calendar!

European Beer Festival at Heart of Europe

Spit roasted piglet, special meat platters, two beers on tap, pear brandy and schnapps on offer the whole weekend. Come to enjoy the European Beer Festival with us!

 

Vodafest 2013 - Czech and Slovak Festival

The third Vodafest Czech and Slovak festival will take place on 16 March 2013 at the Austrian Club in Heidelberg West. This year’s new location will be more convenient for more people. This will be an opportunity to showcase your heritage. Please bring your Aussie friends and neighbours with you as we’re hoping for a bumper crowd.

Members of the steering committee are thrilled to announce VodaFest 2012, the Czech and Slovak Festival in Melbourne. Everybody be sure to mark the Saturday, 25 February 2012 in your calendars and be ready to enjoy a full day of music, beer and Eastern European cuisine at Sumava Peksa Park.

Beer Fest at Koliba

Koliba Czech and Slovak Restaurant are throwing a beer festival this year, featuring live music, beer garden, $6 large Czech beer on tap, grilled specials, and more. Running for three days, this is a great event for everyone looking to start Czech and Slovak summer in style. It is also a great opportunity to invite friends of other nationalities and introduce them to our cuisine and traditional beverages.

Czech Spring Festival of Hobart 2011

"My name is Robert and I am the festival director of the Czech Spring Festival of Hobart 2011. We are currently putting together our program for this year's fest to take place between 1st and 7th of November 2011.

We are interested in inviting Melburnians to our festival, featuring Australia's finest Jitrnice Feast as seen on SBS's Gourmet Farmer. We are also interested in showing any of your talents, such as costume parade, puppets, dancing, games.
