VodaFest Community Grant 2015
VodaFest Czech and Slovak Association Inc. has positioned itself as a platform that serves the Czech and Slovak communities by organising events, facilitating presentation, promotion & fundraising efforts of various community groups, sharing equipment and giving back to the community from its profits by supporting small cultural projects.
In the past the VodaFest has been solely responsible for sourcing suitable projects worthy of support.
This year we are offering community organisations, interest groups or individuals an opportunity to make an application for assistance with funding of their project(s) via an initiative called VodaFest Community Grant.
VodaFest Committee will consider all eligible applications and make a selection based on the community merit. The winning projects and amounts awarded will be announced at VodaFest Czech and Slovak Festival 2015.
The criteria for VodaFest Community Grant 2015 award are as follows:
:: The project clearly benefits Czech and/or Slovak community
:: The project is likely to appeal to broad spectrum of the community
:: The project contributes to greater community spirit
:: The project creates additional facilities for use by the community
:: The project supports promotion of Czech and/or Slovak language and culture
:: The project will be completed within 12 months of the date of award
The application should state how the project addresses each of the criteria.
All applications must be submitted by e-mail at secretary@vodafest.org or by post at PO Box 8047 Camberwell North Vic 3124 no later than 31 August 2015. The application form can be downloaded below.
