Thanks everyone who joined in for the first Czech and Slovak Night at Koliba Restaurant on September 20th. It was no doubt a huge success with heaps of delicious food, icy beer, music that reminds us of home and people making new friends and enjoying themselves.

The summer is starting to kick in and the last public holiday before Christmas -- the Melbourne Cup Day -- is closing in. For those not particularly interested in horse racing, here's a terrific idea on how to spend the Monday night of the long weekend.

On November 1st, Halloween Party -- The Second Czech and Slovak Night at Koliba Restaurant takes place! Just like the first CS night, this event is meant for members of the Czech and Slovak community in Melbourne to socialize, meet each other and have fun.

As this is going to be a Halloween special, everybody is expected to show up in a costume! You have plenty of time, start working on your main prize winning idea!
