VodaFest this Saturday!
After a year of waiting on your part and wild organising on ours, we are now 3 days from the third make of the Czech and Slovak Festival in Melbourne, VodaFest 2013. Program
- Vendulka competitor from the 2012 X Factor,
- Polonez Polish guest folk and national dances,
- Liptar Slovak folk dance group,
- Marcy Taylor, the violinist and her band,
- Briar Wolfe, melding Czech Republic’s famed folk artists and Melbourne’s vibrant music scene,
- Vintage Blue Music, songs from the Czech and Slovak golden era,
- children from Czech and Slovak schools in Melbourne.
For Kids
- Bouncing castle,
- Easter craft hands on workshops: painting the eggs, making willow whips, creating Easter cards, bunny masks,
- fairy tales screening,
- sport activities: soccer goal kicking, three legged race, egg and spoon race.
