Vodafest in one week

Dear friend,

Things are getting pretty exciting! With over a week to go, VodaFest has already stirred up quite a bit of interest. We are getting e-mails from bands who would like to perform on the main stage, and businesses who would like to take part at the event. The program has formed up into a solid promise of a day out full of entertainment, and is a good reason for you all to get excited about VodaFest, too.

Babovka contest

It took some time for us to come up with an idea for the visitor home work activity, but we now know this is a good one!

We are pretty sure every single member of the Czech and Slovak community knows what Babovka is, what it looks like and, most importantly, what it tastes like. But there are only a few chosen ones who know how to make it, and to make it taste like the one from your granny.

Ivan Tasler at VodaFest

Big news coming your way from the VodaFest team! Ivan Tasler, singer of Slovak band IMT Smile has confirmed presence at the festival, including a performance of a few songs.

We are extremely excited about having him and so should be you.

For those of you who have been in Australia for too long, here is a brief info about him. Although, the only thing you need to know, really, is that you definitelly want to see him!
