Czech and Slovak Newsletter - February 2011

Dear friend,

The Czech and Slovak Night

What a night! Kransky and goulash cooked over campfire, beer on tap, camping at Sumava, but most of all, people made the fourth Czech and Slovak Night a huge success. With almost 90 paying attendees we reached well over 100 visitors altogether, some of them from as far as Warrnambool and Malesice. Heaps of pictures from the night have been uploaded to Facebook already, here's a few more on the VodaFest website, taken by the photographer Juraj Polak: http://vodafest.org/gallery/czech-and-slovak-night-sumava

The January 2011 Czech and Slovak Newsletter

Dear friend,

A few days late, but better late than never, here's another Czech and Slovak newsletter. It's been a busy month, with all the Christmas and New Year's events organized by both the Czech and Slovak communities. We hope you've had a peaceful, very traditional Christmas and wish you a great year of 2011.

Vodafest in one week

Dear friend,

Things are getting pretty exciting! With over a week to go, VodaFest has already stirred up quite a bit of interest. We are getting e-mails from bands who would like to perform on the main stage, and businesses who would like to take part at the event. The program has formed up into a solid promise of a day out full of entertainment, and is a good reason for you all to get excited about VodaFest, too.

VodaFest in two weeks

Dear friend,

With only two weeks to go, it is time for the visitors to start getting ready for the day. It is also time for those who want to help to start helping. Here is an update for all visitors with the frequently asked questions answered. Please, make sure to also read about how you can support the festival and the community.
